Father,
Give us large hearts and sturdy hands. Let us do more than talk and dream, but act and live. Live in love instead of judgement, in service instead of passivity. Give us your dreams and the tenacity to see them through. Thank you for your faithfulness in the midst of our unfaithfulness. I pray specifically for families facing AIDS, for your comforting peace in their midst, for the church to surround them in love. Give them strength to face each day and hope for the next. Amen.

God, we ask you give our leaders wisdom, our workers strength, and our hearts compassion towards this crisis. Grant peace to the inflicted and may their hope be in you. Rise up the church once again to redeem your land & people in bondage.

Asking for prayer, wisdom and strength. Positive with HIV for 17 years. Everyday is a true blessing from God. Please continue to pray for myself and through prayer to stay strong and focused on this disease that affects my life and so many others, here and around the world.

Dear Lord,
Grant us compassion and understanding for every person whose life has been touched by HIV/AIDS.
Help us to keep the promise and to share God’s love and healing with those suffering and grant them peace and courage on their journey.

Lord,
I pray for the scales to be removed from my eyes. I can’t speak for others. I know what I don’t know. And I know that You want me to know. Help me to not stay in my own “little” world but help me to see the whole world. I pray for my brothers and sisters in the whole world who are suffering with HIV and AIDS. I pray for medicine and a cure. I pray for hope when there isn’t any. I pray for peace and comfort. I pray for the babies who have been infected. I weep for those who are suffering and pray in my helplessness that You would receive my tears as prayers for them.

Jesus please give John the wisdom and strength he needs to live valiantly with HIV. Use him Lord as an agent of healing and hope in the world around him.
